Founder and Managing Attorney

Masoud Mirsafian is the founder and managing attorney of Mirsafian Law Group, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm serving individuals, professionals, and small- to mid-sized businesses throughout Chicago, Cook County, and DuPage County, Illinois. His practice focuses on contract and transactional law, civil and commercial litigation, post-judgment enforcement, estate and trust planning, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as personal injury matters. He is known for a disciplined, methodical approach to complex legal issues and practical, results-driven solutions.

With more than 20 years of experience as an Illinois attorney, Masoud personally oversees all aspects of the firm’s legal practice, including litigation and post-judgment enforcement. He leads the firm’s transactional practice, advising clients on the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of business and commercial agreements, including asset and stock purchase agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, real estate and vendor contracts, and independent-contractor and service agreements. His transactional work emphasizes clarity, enforceability, and alignment with each client’s long-term business and financial objectives.

Masoud also leads the firm’s estate-planning and prenuptial and postnuptial agreement practices. His estate-planning work includes the preparation of last wills and testaments, as well as revocable and irrevocable trusts designed to protect assets and preserve family wealth. His prenuptial and postnuptial agreement practice reflects a strong command of Illinois contract law and a practical understanding of asset protection, financial planning, and the legal consequences of marital dissolution with and without a prenuptial agreement.

Masoud earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Kansas and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School (now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law). He is admitted to practice in all Illinois state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Under his leadership, Mirsafian Law Group is recognized for disciplined preparation, sound judgment, and a commitment to professional excellence in both transactional and litigation matters throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
